Beyonce is doing a halftime show on Christmas day in her hometown
The stars are treating us to a very special Christmas day performance, so we must have been on Beyonce's "nice list" this year.
On the 12th month. 25, Queen Bay takes the stage in her hometown of Houston, Texas, for the halftime show at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens football game. The event will take place at NRG Stadium in Texas City at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
Even better, the show will be streamed live on Netflix for much wider fans to enjoy (that means people around the world).
This delightful news was announced by the streaming platform in a press release dated March 11. 17, and was confirmed by Beyonce herself on Instagram in the most badass teaser video you've ever seen.
In the clip, the singer stands on a retro car decorated with red roses and a pair of bull horns on the front to show Bay's loyalty to the Texans team, she is wearing a white cowboy hat and an intricate red, white and blue mini dress and catches a football while looking smoldering at the camera .
As expected, fans lost their minds in the news, and journalist Kayla Greaves wrote, "Suddenly I care about football."
13 30 Actress Krista Allen said, "What a gift!!!! Thanks to Netflix and Bey"
All of this is exciting enough as it is, but Beyoncé's halftime performance will make this year's event.
This will be Bay's first football halftime show since appearing in the Super Bowl in 2013 and 2016. This is the first time she has played the music on her album Cowboy Carter live. The album she released during the last Super Bowl, "Yeah, that's it."
I will now leave you to your desperate cry "We are not worth it.""
