King Charles faces yet another security breach as the Windsor Castle estate is robbed by masked intruders

The Windsor Castle property has been the target of recent robberies — and the incident occurred when Prince William, Princess Kate and their children slept in their Windsor home

According to Thames Valley Police, via the BBC, the crime took place on May 10. 13 but was just reported on Sunday,Nov. 13. The offender entered the farm building and turned off with a black Isuzu pickup and a red quad bike. Then they left for the old Windsor/Dachette area," the police statement read.

The masked thief climbed onto a 6-foot-high fence at Shaw Farm on the estate at Windsor Castle and fled "by breaking through the gate with a stolen car," according to the BBC.

Surprisingly, the incident happened just 5 minutes from the Adelaide Cottage where Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis slept with their parents. According to the Sun, "Families are regularly seen using destroyed gates — the nearest exit to their homes."

sources said the robbers "must know that the car was kept there before they broke in, and the best time to get and escape without getting caught

When the incident happened, the king and queen were not living in the castle."

The source of the Sun continued, "There is an alarm at Windsor Castle, but the first time anyone found out there was an intrusion was when it crashed through a security barrier at the Shaw Farm Gate exit.

According to police, no arrests have yet been made in connection with the robbery.

This is the 2nd time this year that there has been a security breach on the grounds of Windsor Castle. On May 2, an unarmed man was found in the garden outside the King's Windsor Castle apartment.

And in 2022, a man dressed as a priest spent the night in the castle's possessions and climbed the fence on Christmas Day 2021 while an intruder wielding a crossbow threatened to kill Queen Elizabeth.
