Kaley Cuoco asks people to "stop" mom's shame and says everyone is "doing the best they can
Kaley Cuoco wants people to stop "mom shaming" each other because parenting is not always easy.
Cuoco is raising daughter Matilda, 1, with fiance Tom Pelfrey, and she ended up hearing criticism about her parenting choices.
In an interview with E! "Every mom I can guarantee is doing the best they can.She continued, "Look, everyone has something to say about everything. Before I have children, there is no change in where I am in my life to have children.
The former Big Bang theory star also revealed that she is used to being criticized as a person in the public eye, saying, "It's just this that's what it is." But yeah, we have to stop with shame.
Despite being on the receiving end of "Mama Shaming," Cuoco told E! The news that her daughter Matilda has a wonderful childhood. The star of the flight attendant described Matilda as "the happiest child in the world" who "has love around her."
Cuoco suggested that people should not judge others too quickly, saying, "I feel like every child is so different... Good for your child may not be good for me.
The actress is not too worried that Matilda will be obsessed with screen time and let her daughter watch whatever is on TV. "She just watched like 7 movies on HBO," Cuoco told the outlet. "Yeah, when I get home, she's watching Game of Thrones.
Cuoco and her partner Pelphrey both work as actors, so she's pretty sure their daughter will one day take them to the entertainment industry. "I don't know how this child won't be an actress," Cuoco said. "That is, it's an acting family.
Luckily, Cuoco is confident that she and Pelphrey can help Matilda navigate any future issues she may face in her work life, "we've been through all the ups and downs," she told the outlet. "And the girl is a performer. There is no way she will not play."
