Florence Pugh shares 'mind・boggling' Decision to freeze Eggs at Age 27

Florence Pugh opened up about a medical examination that decided to freeze her eggs at the age of 27.

"Dr.In an interview with Dr. Thaïsaliabadi, known as "A," and Mary Alice Haney, an influencer on dear Media's "SHE MD" podcast, Pugh spoke candidly about her infertility.

Pew revealed that (through people) she met with Dr.A, "I asked if I've ever counted the number of eggs, but I said, "No, what do you mean?" and why do you need the number of eggs?

Following the number of eggs, Dr. Pews diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis can both have a negative impact on a person's fertility.

"It was just so weird because my family is a baby-making machine," Pugh explained on the podcast. "My mother had a baby in her forties. My Gran has always had a baby."

Pew continued,"and of course, I learned completely different information at the age of 27.

Pew explained that he had heard about PCOS but did not know it was so common.According to the CDC, about 500 million people in the U.S. alone are believed to have PCOS, and even more have not been diagnosed.

The little female star explained, "I just thought I really knew that was what you feel and you have, and it wasn't really a worry."

After receiving the diagnosis, Pew shared her realization that "You have to change your lifestyle, you have to be proactive and think ahead of the future.""I think for many young women, that's not necessarily what you're going to do when you're in your 20s.

Before her official diagnosis, Pew had experienced some of the symptoms commonly associated with PCOS, Such as acne or "hair that should not be in a certain place".The actress said she rationalized these symptoms as part of being a woman and also lives a maybe a little stressful life.She continued, "I didn't think constant weight fluctuations would be part of it as well.

Eventually, Pew wanted to help other people in the same situation, so she decided to share her fertility journey. "If you have a dream of becoming a mom one day, these things are so important," she said.
