Ted Danson, as it turned out, is a big ol' softy.

New show A Man on The Inside actor co-stars Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Lilah Richcreek Estrada sat down with Us Weekly to talk about their experience of making the show.And 1 of the most beautiful tidbits about the relationship between Danson and his wife Mary Steenburgen came out of their interview.

"He really loves his wife," Ellis revealed. "He talks a lot about Mary. It is very sweet. You say, "Oh, I'm so tired." I had to get up at 5 o'clock to get here."And he said, "Yeah, I had to get up at 3:30, so Mary and I needed our time together before I got in.

Estrada said, "Like Wordle, to do!" I think they say the word," Ellis confirms, "yeah, they're doing, like a crossword puzzle together."

Estrada said it was all "really cute," but Ellis was at Ted Danson's level where she committed to her spouse Charlie Day.

"So what I learned is that I'm not committed enough in my relationship," she said. When the reporter laughed at the camera, she added to avoid suspicion "Also I do not care." Not 3:30 a.m."

Estrada agreed."

Danson and Steenburgen — actresses known for book clubs and proposals — have been married since 1995, and good place actors have been married twice before. His marriage to Randy Danson lasted between 1970 and 1975, and his marriage to Casey Coates, the mother of his child, lasted from 1977 to 1993. They share daughters Kate (44) and Alexis (39).

As for the man inside, it's a new Netflix comedy that premieres on May 11. 21 also starring Sally Struthers of the Gilmore Girls, Jama Williamson of Parks and Recreation, and Stephanie Beatrice of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In other words, the cream of the sitcom crop has joined forces for this, so it seems pretty promising.
