Kim Kardashian says Kanye West is "basically raising 4 children himself" after divorce
Kim Kardashian opened up about her life as a single mother.
During a recent appearance on anything at Winkler! The founder of SKIMS, a podcast with ZOE Winkler, opened up about how difficult it is to raise 4 children "basically" alone, but explained that she doesn't have much to talk about it because of the judgments she has received accordingly.
"In the middle of the night, when they all sleep in your bed, sometimes you wake up kicking and crying at you — that's because I always feel like there's a lot of judgment or people always jump "Oh, but you have the resources to have a nanny and help." It's not about talking a lot," Kardashian said (via Us Weekly). "And I think, no matter what help I have, I'm basically raising 4 kids alone.
The TV star shares North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 with ex・husband Kanye West.
2 people were married between 2014 and 2022, and Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021/2.
A year later, the entrepreneur opened up to Vogue about some of the reasons behind the separation. "For a long time, I did things that made others happy," she said around 2022-2. "And I think in the last two years I've decided, I'm going to make myself happy. And it feels really good. And I chose myself I thought it was important to be honest with myself about what really makes you happy, even if it brought about a change and caused my divorce. I think it's okay to choose you."
She doesn't talk often about the struggle of single-parent food, but this is not the first time Kardashian has opened up about this experience. When she appeared on On Purpose with Jay Shetty in 2023 on May 5, she explained:"I think parenting has taught me the most about myself.
She continued, "It was the most challenging thing.
"There are nights when I cry myself to sleep, such as "What happened.""It's definitely a challenge because in all moods and personalities, sometimes they're fighting and there's no one like me who plays good cops and bad cops."
