Prince William helped the fans get out of being late to class with a cheerful TikTok

The teacher has heard all the excuses in the book over the years, but one student tricked them all when she handed the phone to a member of the Royal Family to explain why she was late for class.

Samantha Johnson, who attends Ulster University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on a visit to the campus centre of Prince William's school on Thursday the 14th, proved that she did not use the "dog ate my homework" reason she took to tiktok and missed the lecture.

"Tell her why we're late," she said, examining the camera and then not giving it to anyone but the Prince of Wales. "Sorry, Leslie," a friend says away from the camera before William takes over.

"Leslie, sorry for being late, but seeing that we caught up, they wouldn't think you were here. Please say hi.

Many fans jumped into the comments, like those who wrote, "It's a royal pardon," which Johnson replied."

" He said, "We're late,"" another commented, and the 3rd fan wrote, "I'll send this every time I take a sick day or pto."

Johnson also added some details about her interaction with William to the comment, writing, "One of the nicest people I've ever met.", Take care of what you are really trying to get to know."

"Interaction with royalty has become increasingly disingenuous, and I love it for them," added another TikTok user. Social media users' comments are true when it comes to recent royal events, with both Prince William and Kate Middleton showing a more modern approach to their engagement and interaction with fans.

The Prince of Wales was visiting the university to learn about how it could help train students in the creative industry sector, which is estimated to have contributed £1.4 billion to the local economy and employs more than 24,000 people, according to Kensington Palace.

Prince William— who earlier this week honored Crown actress Imelda Staunton at damehood — even jumped on a motorcycle to test some green screen technology, reliving a hobby he gave up years ago after becoming a dad of three.

As for Professor Leslie, Johnson repost it over all her links, "she was pure buzzin.""University students in the UK should be careful for future visits.
