One of Oprah's favorites was a gift from Meghan Markle

Halloween is over and the holiday season has officially begun. Oprah Winfrey unveiled her list of gift-giving favorites on Friday, November 1, which included an item gifted to her by none other than Meghan Markle.

It turns out that the Duchess of Sussex is a longtime fan of Japanese skincare brand Tatcha and its luxurious products, and she gave Oprah a certain special gift set. Winfrey listed the brand's “Hinoki Body Care Trio” as her first pick for 2024 on the Oprah Daily website, writing, “This is my favorite forest-scented one, sent to me by my neighbor Megan.”

“If you were to come to my house, you would see this body soap, body oil, and body milk right by the tub,” the media mogul added. The three-piece moisturizing set was created “to awaken the senses and calm the mind,” Tatcha said, but it is also reduced to an activity very much in line with the Duchess's mission to empower girls and women.

By purchasing Tatcha's products, one can support the brand's “Beautiful Faces, Beautiful Futures” initiative to increase childhood literacy and ensure that girls around the world receive the education they deserve.

This set is not Princess Meghan's only visit to Tatcha. In an interview with Allure magazine during her “Suits” days, Markle praised the brand's cult classic, Rice Polish, telling the magazine, “It foams up when you put it on your face and gives you a really delicate exfoliation.” And in the Netflix documentary about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a jar of Tatcha's water cream can be seen in the background as she prepares for an event.

As for Winfrey, who attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's 2018 royal wedding, she has long been a supporter of the couple and, of course, famously sat down with them for a bomb interview in 2021. Along with the royal neighbor's favorite skincare, Oprah named another celebrity beauty item as her favorite item for 2024, citing Tracee Ellis Ross' Pattern Beauty blow dryer as the perfect cure for a bad hair day.

Perhaps next year, Princess Meghan will stop by with her American Riviera Orchard products.
