Jennifer Lopez wears a Democratic blue hat and Jacqu1,050Jacquemus bag before election day

As a nation, we are waiting for a stressful week because we are waiting for the results of the 2024 election. Many Americans, like me, are wearing their most cozy clothes, waiting to see what our future will look like. (If you have not already voted: please vote!)Jennifer Lopez, obviously, is in the same mood.

After an unstoppable screening in New York City, the actor was seen at JFK Airport on May 10. 4- otherwise known as the eve of election day - wearing coziest of cozy looks. She wore an outfit equivalent to your favorite emotional support throw blanket: a knee-length sherpa coat and a ribbed blue hat. Under a thick layer of plush outerwear, Lopez was stacked on top of a lighter layer that included longline Chambray trousers and a cream turtleneck.

Her accessories, on the other hand, were all gorgeous; Lopez even styled her collection of well-placed textures and seasonal basics. The "Let's Get Loud" singer carried a linen Jacquemus Bambino bag that retails forま1,050 and wore contrasting gloves made of camel leather.

The story of the colors of her costume — white and blue — was of paramount importance. Lopez, an outspoken supporter of the Democratic Party, wore that characteristic color.

Last week, she attended a Las Vegas rally in support of presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris. In an impassioned speech about the importance of this election, Lopez called former President Donald Trump "the biggest enemy I think, internally, America has ever had.""When I started on TV and in movies, I could get a role playing a maid or a loud mouth Latina, but I knew I'd offer more," Lopez said. "And I think there are a lot of people in this country who feel the same way and know that they can do more, and we all have an opportunity to prove that the election is about choosing the leaders who support it, not the leaders who get in the way."

"[Trump] reminded me of who he really is and how he really feels," she continued, addressing racist comments made at a recent Trump rally. "It was not only Puerto Ricans who were offended that day, but all Latinos in this country, humanity, and people of decent character.

Think of Lopez's Democratic-leaning hat as a reminder to hit the polls. The combination of a fluffy jacket like her with a beanie is nothing better than the "voted" sticker. (Find a polling station here.)
