Queen Camilla is being exchanged at a royal event as she's too sick to attend after a visit to Australia

Queen Camilla recently returned from a royal tour of Australia and Samoa with her husband King Charles. However, after a successful trip, the queen was replaced by several royal events due to health problems.

During the eventful tour, Camilla wept as King Charles discussed his death. She also appeared barefoot after a busy 1 day engagement. But after returning home, the Queen was forced to pull out of her official royal contract on the advice of her medical team.

Buckingham Palace issued a statement on Camilla's health, saying (via the BBC): "Her Majesty is currently unwell with a chest infection and doctors are recommending a short rest."

The statement continued, "With great regret, Her Majesty had to withdraw from her engagement for this week, but she will recover in so many hours

according to the BBC.", The Duchess of Gloucester takes Camilla's place at the annual opening of the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on Thursday 11/7.

Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, was born in Denmark and married to the Duke of Gloucester, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth 2. As a busy member of the royal family, the Duchess is used to attending high-profile events on behalf of her relatives.

The outlet also noted that the Queen will hopefully have a relatively small bug"... It could have been picked up during her long-distance trip."As well as travelling to Australia and Samoa, it is also reported that the Queen visited India to break up a long flight.

The Queen is reportedly hoping to return to her royal duties this weekend. Her busy schedule included a memorial concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday and an annual service held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall on Sunday.

Regarding Camilla's absence from several events, Buckingham Palace explained (via GB News), "She apologizes to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result."
