Dolly Parton invited Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Dolly Wood after refusing tea with Princess Kate
Everyone knows that Dolly Parton is a national treasure, but the country music queen is now expanding her invitation to real royalty to an American party. According to the music legend, Kate Middleton and Prince William "love" taking Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Dolly Wood and"Oh, I absolutely love them coming to Dolly Wood, it will be great!"She told Closer (via GB News). "Kids can ride all the rides and we treat them like royalty.
Parton explained that the Royals felt like they were at home in Tennessee and wanted to cook for them. "I would give Kate my mashed potatoes – I wouldn't put air in for them," the "Jolene" singer said.
"I just get them to enjoy what we're enjoying, and I'm sure that's the way they want it," she adds, "I love having those kids in Dollywood."
If the royal family made a trip to Pigeon Forge, ten. A theme park, it would echo the days when Princess Diana brought her boys William and Harry to Thorpe Park in England (its iconic Logff) and Disney World, an experience when the Prince could have fun and ride like any other child.
Perhaps she wants to make up for missing an encounter with Princess Kate last summer after having to refuse an invitation to the palace.
While Parton was promoting the Rock Star's album in London, the star was "invited to have a cup of tea with Kate" (via Newsweek), as he revealed in an interview with the BBC.
"I felt so bad and I couldn't even go because all these things were set up," and the "9to5" singer admitted that at the end of her busy pro day, Parton had to come first to work, saying, "She wasn't going to promote my rock album."
Parton added that "I thought it was so sweet and nice" for the princess to ask, "1 of these days is going to be able to do it, it's great"
