Demi Moore channels Meghan Markle in a navy blazer and 3D floral dress
In 2015, my closet was all 3D floral prints, colorful blazers and cap-to-pumps (essentially, OG Fashion Blogger Starter Pack). These trends have been mostly dormant in recent years, but Demi Moore took them squarely in the limelight with her latest red carpet appearance
at the Paris premiere of her new thriller film Substance on May 11. On May 5, Moore was actively blooming. Her knee-length dress was completely covered with multi-colored 3D floral appliques and was tied to the waist with a posh bow. Above the top, she wore a perfectly tailored navy coat with gold buttons and embellished details in the pockets. The combination was the kind that someone like Meghan Markle might wear for a Sunday afternoon tea, and felt appropriate in the prim.
Moore also wore black and white cap-to-pumps; she carried a salmon-colored clutch with a rose closure (it matched her floral dress to T). Moore's long, dark hair was worn straight, and her lips were coated with gloss on her clutch and coordinated little finger.
Another such supporter of these 2010s trends is Meghan Markle.1 In fact, Moore's costume is basically her characteristic appearance. The former Royal loves floral dresses topped with refreshing blazers, and even has an affinity for cap-toe shoes. While some may think the latter is a bit outdated, both Markle and Moore shine timeless evidence of the style of the shoe.
The same outfit, different fonts — and yet both are so stylish.
