Olivia Rodrigo shared a sweet story about her late grandfather.

“I'm a big believer in astrology,” Rodrigo said in a video interview with W Magazine, where she practiced her ASMR-making skills. 'My grandfather just passed away this year and I love him very much. He was also super passionate about astrology. When I was born, he looked at my chart and told my parents that I was very emotional and would be a performing artist."

She also said that she was ”very proud of my parents.

She cheekily added, “I tell that story to people who dismiss astrology.”

The story came up when she handed me a magazine horoscope as a prop and said, “Pisces. This may be an extreme time. But that doesn't mean you should be extreme in your thoughts and actions. Take a more balanced view of what is happening in the world. Be the kind of person who can bring about constructive change.”

Rodrigo said, “Today is kind of an extreme day. I don't know, but I'm definitely going to try.”

The star has spoken at length in the past about his love of astrology and his Pisces pride.

In a recent Netflix concert film promo video, Rodrigo held up several of her favorite tank tops from her GUTS world tour and explained the story behind each.

She held up one that read “Princess of Pisces” and said, “I am so proud to be a Pisces. I am very proud to be a Pisces. Pisces is a big part of my identity.

And in an interview on 102.7 KIISFM in 2023, Rodrigo and his host hit it off because they are both Pisces. Rodrigo, being a water sign, was asked if he liked water, to which he replied I feel most like myself when I am in the ocean or big water.”
