Zendaya is currently in Boston filming her new movie “The Drama” with Robert Pattinson. When I first heard about the project, I thought they were the only two whose combination would convince me to secure a ticket at the nearest AMC the moment it was released. But when clips of the two on set were released on November 6, I realized that Zendaya's new film had an even hotter co-star.

No offense to Mr. Pattinson, who once adorned my bedroom wall in the form of a “Twilight” poster and is still my non-platonic ideal celebrity boyfriend. (Suki Waterhouse, you are living my dream.) But Zendaya's type of coat, styled for a scene the two filmed on Boston's historic Beacon Street, is the type I've been pining for even longer than I've been pining for the aloof British actor.

A fan shot a video of Z and Pattinson walking in front of the camera and she was wearing a heather gray longline coat. The only other things I could see in her outfit were a black leather tote slung over one shoulder and a curly, low bun. Still, I was convinced.

This coat called to me even more than the affordable reformatted sweater she had worn earlier in the week for a walk with Tom Holland. I know nothing about Zendaya's new movie, not the plot, nor how the gray overcoat fits with her character's wardrobe and the scene she shot with Pattinson. But from that nine seconds of footage, I knew that her coat was the perfect early winter outfit. It is oversized without overpowering her figure and light enough to wear with a solid sweater underneath. I'm not sure what brand it's from or even which costume designer chose it, but it doesn't matter: in my mind, she's already the film's breakout star.

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson will be filming in Boston over the next few weeks. Between shoots, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a closer look at her coat. In the meantime, my own search will continue with some excellent (and affordable) similar versions that I shopped below.
