Zoe Kravitz elevates her post-breakup style in a lace skirt alongside Taylor Swift.
Zoë Kravitz is enjoying a night on the town, undeterred by her recent breakup.
On Friday, November 8, the actress and filmmaker was spotted in the Meatpacking District with pop superstar Taylor Swift. That evening, Kravitz was spotted wearing a stylish lingerie-inspired Saint Laurent cream skirt with knit and lace embellishments and an oversized black cashmere coat from The Row.
Kravitz and Swift were also accompanied by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. Swift wore a Vivienne Westwood Sunday striped corset dress with blue and white stripes on the bottom and a watercolor inspired corset on top.
Late last month, news broke that Kravitz and her former fiancé, Channing Tatum, had called off their engagement and broken up after three years together.
At the time, sources close to the former couple confirmed their split to People, but representatives for the two actors did not respond to the publication's request for comment. According to the publication, Kravitz, who directed Tatum's debut film “Blink Twice,” had not worn an engagement ring in public for several weeks before the couple split.
After they called off their engagement, a source who spoke to “Entertainment Tonight” said the couple called it off due to their busy schedules.
“[They] both have very demanding schedules,” the source claimed at the time.
“And that was a big part of why they broke up.”
Shortly after news of the breakup became public, Kravitz was spotted strolling around New York in what can only be described as a typical “sad girl fall” ensemble, combining all of her favorite designers.
The Batman star went bra-less in a semi-sheer white T-shirt and navy blue wide-leg jeans reminiscent of A.P.C.'s Elizabeth Jeans.
Directed by David and Nathan Zellner (aka the Zellner brothers), the film stars Tatum and Kravitz along with Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough. Billed as an alien invasion comedy, the film is currently in pre-production and will begin shooting this spring.
