Prince William doesn't want children to exist in “their own little world” when it comes to privilege.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis may be living very privileged lives as sons and daughters of the future King and Queen, but in a new documentary, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, Prince William, the underprivileged He spoke about how he believes it is very important as a parent to teach children about those who are less fortunate.

In this two-part program, the Prince talks at length about his ongoing quest to end the homelessness crisis for good, and how he approaches the subject with his three children.

“When I was very young, my mother started talking about the issue of homelessness. Princess Diana, accompanied by William and his brother Prince Harry, frequently visited homeless support groups such as The Passage and Centerpoint.

She said that these early visits had a “huge impact” on the young prince and that she believed it was “important to introduce conversations when they are young,” as she does with her own children. The Prince revealed that he has begun teaching George (11), Charlotte (9), and Louis (6) about the concept of homelessness.

Prince William said that at first there was “a certain silence,” but that he could “see their brains trying to make sense of it.” He added that it was “important” for the children to realize that they “don't live in their own little world.”

Also speaking about his first visit to Passage in 1993, the royal, who is now the charity's patron, said he was “apprehensive” at first, but that his mother made the experience a positive one. 'My mother took Harry and me both. I think I was about 11 at the time,” William said, adding that he had never been there before.

Princess Diana softened William's visit, and the Prince of Wales said his mother “did the usual things to relax everyone and make them laugh and joke.”

As for the Welsh children, it is no surprise that Prince George would soon join his father in his work to combat homelessness.
