It has been exactly 10 years since Blake Lively last attended the CFDA Awards. To return to the event, which honors the best designers in American fashion, the actor chose an outfit that shows she means business for the 2024 event.

Lively's styling for the Michael Kors collection conveyed her busy life as an actor, hair care founder, and innovator of cocktails in a can. She based her look on a white scoop-neck dress with a draped waistline and a hip-high slit down one leg. Then, an oversized white blazer was draped over her shoulders; after weeks of seeing her in a floral corset ball gown on the “It Ends With Us” press tour, this streamlined white outfit felt more “modern mogul” style than “method dressing 180 felt more like “modern mogul” style.

Lively paired this all-white look with crystal-studded naked shoes and diamond jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz. A diamond pendant sparkled around her neck, while a tennis bracelet and several diamond rings shone on her wrist and fingers. Icy stud earrings peeked out from beneath the side-parted waves. Speaking of waves: her soft Old Hollywood curls were the perfect billboard for her new hair brand, Blake Brown.

Even before the credits rolled, we could guess that Lively's CEO-chic outfit was from Michael Kors, just as we did when Lively wore a look from Kors' Resort Collection in 2014. (Blake Lively has also been a loyal supporter of Michael Kors over the years, appearing front row on the New York Fashion Week runway and wearing his designs in street style.

Up the stairs, Lively was joined by Katie Holmes (Carolina Herrera), Kylie Jenner (in a feathered Galliano gown), and host Cynthia Erivo (in a Zac Posen gown by Wicked Codes). Even with the many stars in attendance, she dressed as if she was in charge.
