Madonna Supports Son Rocco's Art Exhibit Weeks After Brother's Death

Madonna is sad about her brother, but thankfully, she is well surrounded by family and friends.

The singer recently shared that she flew to Paris to support her son Rocco Ritchie's latest art exhibit.

Along with a gallery of photos with Rocco and pictures of his art, Madge said, “I escaped to Paris to see my son Rocco's exhibition ‘The Tourist’ and visit friends. It's the perfect antidote to grief!”

According to Tatler, Rocco painted under the name Rhed for many years until he revealed himself around 2022. Madonna has always supported him.

Rocco turned 24 in August, and his famous mother wrote him a touching message on his big day.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rocco- all your many moods and incarnations through the long and Winding Road have been tumultuous and full of surprises,” Madonna wrote, along with photos and videos of her son over the years and pictures of his artwork.

“But through it all, your curiosity and artistic soul have been the glue that binds us together. Thank you for art. Thank you for you. We have shared our lives many times. Thank you for choosing me again."

‘I Love you -for Eternity.’

The American pop star shares Rocco and his brother David, 19, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie.

As reported by People, she is also the mother of Lourdes Leon (28), whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, and adopted children Mercy (18), Stella and Estelle (12) (the youngest three share their mother's last name Ciccone).

Madonna's excursion to Paris took place during a difficult season for the singer. Her brother Christopher Ciccone died in early October at the age of 63, and the Queen of Pop mourned his passing. The siblings shared a difficult relationship but were incredibly close at various points in their lives.

Christopher passed away after a battle with cancer, just two weeks after Madonna's stepmother Joan Ciccone died of cancer. Madonna's brother Anthony Ciccone had tragically died a few months earlier in February 2023.
