Jennifer Lawrence and Dakota Johnson show off their bromance in a hot girl walk.
Jennifer Lawrence and Dakota Johnson were famously dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. And now it seems the two have more in common than previously thought.
On Monday, October 28, the actors showed off their color-coordinated friendship style during a walk in Los Angeles. Lawrence, who recently announced she is pregnant with her second child, was dressed comfortably in a blue hoodie, white crew-neck T-shirt, and black parachute pants. She accessorized her laid-back look with a camouflage Harris Waltz hat, black Puma Speed Cat sneakers, black sunglasses, a black Phoebe Philo shoulder bag, and a round red pendant cord necklace designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. The look was adorned with a round red pendant cord necklace designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. The revival of the cord necklace trend, led by Lawrence, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter, certainly keeps the dreams of the 1990s alive.
Johnson, meanwhile, opted for baggy light-wash jeans, a black V-neck sweater layered over a white T-shirt, and a black coat, finishing with aviator sunglasses, black Saint Laurent loafers, and a black shoulder bag. They both looked like they were walking around with iced tea. Lawrence's recent pregnancy bangs, which she had recently cut in a crisp bun, heightened the physical resemblance to Johnson, who has spent most of her career with long brunette bangs.
Nevertheless, it is easy to see what might bring these two together beyond their hairstyles and dating history. Both actors got their breakthroughs around the same time, appearing in blockbuster film adaptations from the best-selling book series. Lawrence starred in the first Hunger Games film in 2012, and Johnson appeared in Fifty Shades of Grey not long after in 2015. Clearly, their personal styles are also very compatible. While Lawrence tends to prefer more eclectic outfits, they both like quiet luxury brands like The Row, La Ligne, and Caite. Best friends who dress together will probably always be together.
