Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz break up, call off engagement
Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz have broken up and called off their engagement after three years together.
Sources confirmed the sad news to People on Tuesday, but representatives for the two actors did not respond to the magazine's request for comment.
According to People, Kravitz had not worn her engagement ring while out and about in recent weeks.
News of Kravitz and Tatum's breakup comes as something of a surprise, given that they seemed incredibly in love as of this past August.
They co-starred in the film “Blink Twice,” which was released on August 23, and both had mentioned how wonderful it was to collaborate in such a way.
“I think creating something with someone you love is one of the most gratifying things you can do, besides having a child with someone,” Tatum told People over the summer.
Kravitz added, “We worked together, we went through some tough times together, and we supported each other.
The couple became engaged in October 2023, almost a year before news of the breakup broke. Tatum gave Kravitz a cushion-cut diamond engagement ring at the time, which one jeweler estimated to be worth around $500,000.
No one pleased them more than their Batman actress-musician father, Lenny Kravitz, who told “Entertainment Tonight” in January, “If the family is happy, if the kids are happy, that's fine. We've done well. I'm blessed."
Kravitz and Tatum began dating around 2021.
Although they did not end up getting married, both had been married before: the Big Little Lies star was married to Carl Glassman from 2019 to 2021, and the Magic Mike actor was married to Jenna Deewan from 2009 to 2019. They have an 11-year-old daughter named Everly.
