Hugh Grant “Absolutely Drunk” on Tequila with Travis Kelsey on the Elas Tour

Who else but Taylor Swift could have been indirectly responsible for such a disproportionate mash-up of Hugh Grant drinking several tequila shots with Travis Kells?

The star of the upcoming film Heretic joined all manner of celebrities from around the world on the Eras tour in London in June.

Grant was generous enough to share some behind-the-scenes details about how he ended up partying with Travis Kels backstage.

“It's my daughter who's crazy about Taylor Swift,” the British actor explained in a new interview with NME. 'I'm an amazing father. I'm an amazing human being. I approached some people and to my surprise they said, 'Come with me,' and I really enjoyed that."

Grant attended with his 8-year-old daughter and wife Anna Eberstein. He said, “My daughter went nuts,”

Grant said. 'She brought a friend and we were both flabbergasted.' [They did tequila shots in the back of a shack in the middle of Wembley. I don't know what they were, but we all got blasted with tequila anyway.”

Despite not exactly being the Swiftite in the family, Grant seemed to have fun at the Erath. After the event, he tweeted. “Dear @taylorswift13, you have an incredible show, a wonderfully hospitable team, and a huge boyfriend (#tequilashots.) An ageing London boy, wife, and an exciting 8 year old #halfgirlhalfbracelet. Thank you so much from."

Miss Swift herself took the time to reply, ‘As a longtime Hugh Grant fan, this tweet is so important to my culture.’

The Eras tour is currently in its final shows (sob). Fresh off a three-night stand in New Orleans, Swift will head to Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver before the final show.
