Sophie Turner Says It's 'Absolute Pain' to Leave Her Children with Joe Jonas
Sophie Turner hates being away from her children.
In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar U.K., she revealed that she is staying with a friend in London while her daughters are with their father, Joe Jonas.
She said that having Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, in her life has “changed me so much in every way. Before I had kids, I was very depressed, anxious, and used to isolate [myself] a lot. Now I think I live for my children. I want them to see me having a social life, enjoying my work, and being successful in my career and relationships. I want them to see a mom who works hard. I want them to come home and say, “That's why Mommy stayed home. I'm doing this for you. That way, Father Christmas will bring you lots of presents.”
Although Jonas is primarily based in the U.S., which keeps him away from his children, Turner has no regrets about his decision to return to his home country.
“It was like my life was on pause until I moved back to England,” she told Bazaar. 'When I'm not in London, with my friends and family, I don't really feel like myself.'
The exes married in 2019, welcomed Willa in 2020 and Delphine in 2022; they announced their divorce in the summer of 2023, a rather dramatic development at the time, but resolved everything by September 2024.
Turner has since been dating English aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, and the two appear to enjoy a very passionate relationship. Meanwhile, since their separation, Jonas has been seeing two women: according to Cosmopolitan, Lila Abdallah and Stormy Bree Henry.
