SUITS star Meghan Markle's unpublished photos from her acting days have fans in an uproar.
Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle was best known for her role as Rachel Zane on the hit legal drama Suits. And while we won't be seeing the Duchess act again, fans got a rare glimpse of her on the show on Wednesday, October 30.
Patrick J. Adams, who played Markle's love interest Mike Ross on Suits for seven seasons, took to Instagram to share a merry-go-round of memories from the show, including a previously unseen photo of the Duchess.
The photo captures Markle on set wearing a black V-neck top and a delicate wishbone charm necklace. She looks down as she shows off her dark smoky eye makeup and appears to be deep in thought, while the mirror behind her, now royal, shows her crew and equipment.
The photo drew many comments from fans, with one writing, “Oh, so this is Rachel Zane from Season 1!” wrote! ❤️❤️ ”, while another added, ” Y'all need to get Meghan on the podcast.”
Adams, who launched Sidebar: Suit Watch Podcast in September, wrote, “@iamsarahgrafferty and I petitioned to officially rename Tuesday to Sidebar Day. It turned out to be a complicated process, but I'm going to keep the faith. Until then, enjoy the latest episode of @suitssidebar, Dirty Little Secrets. The USA Network native co-hosts a podcast with her “Suits” co-star Sarah Rafferty, both of whom attended Markle and Prince Harry's wedding in 2018, and their royal friends have reached out about their new project It turns out that.
“We're not really in touch,” Adams said recently (via People). She is “leading a very different life right now for obvious and important reasons.” However, the actor added that “when she heard about the podcast,” she received “a lovely email” asking “how excited she is for us and if there is anything she can do to help.
It remains to be seen if the Duchess of Sussex will be a special guest on the podcast, but although the two have not seen each other for some time, Adams said he felt it was “lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship despite being so many years apart.”
