Katie Holmes endorses Kamala Harris in custom-made campaign sweater
Celebrities endorsing Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election will never be as simple as putting a Harris Walz sign in their yards. This is tailor-made. Taylor Swift endorsed Harris immediately after the debate with an essay-style Instagram post and a retraction of Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance's offensive “childless cat lady” remark. Beyonce donned her best suit dress to make an endorsement speech in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Selena Gomez donned a sparkling Rodarte dress to vote for Kamala Harris before attending a TV premiere.
Clearly, the A-listers were being themselves as they shared their support for Harris and the Democratic Party's 2024 ballot. To declare her vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as well, Katie Holmes used the best tool in her arsenal: her street-style wardrobe.
The Our Town star traded in her quilted jacket and fall shacket for a custom-made crew-neck Lingua Franca statement sweater. The brand is known for its made-to-order knitwear with chain-stitched messages, and the sweater, navy with pink thread, read that Holmes would vote for “Harris Walz 2024.”
As well as revealing his political views, Holmes offered advice on late fall layering. Under a Harris Walz sweater, he paired a ruffle-neck button-up top with pale stripes. Straight-leg jeans, an oversized Kaite bag, and brown leather boots completed her informal campaign attire.
No other woman has had her daily errands tracked as closely as the actor and director. (If history repeats itself, as many women will be voting as she was wearing slingback flats and barrel-leg jeans.
