Emily Rutakowski recreates Jennifer Lopez's look from the 2000 Grammy Awards for Halloween.

Every Halloween, legions of witches, vampires, and sexy black cats take to the streets for a night of spooky debauchery. And every year, without fail, fans from around the world try to recreate Jennifer Lopez's iconic 2000 Grammy Awards look.

Everyone from the cast of “The Real Housewives” to Lopez herself, who wore a modern-day version of this gown on the Versace runway in 2019, has recreated this iconic ensemble. This year, Emily Ratakowski carried the tropical print torch, putting her own spin on one of fashion's most famous looks.

On October 31, the model donned J.Lo's best dress, a carbon copy of the original design. Like Lopez herself, Ratakowski styled her palm print statement gown with diamond drop earrings and wore her hair half up in a Y2K-inspired hairstyle.

Nearly 25 years after its debut, the gown has become a fashion holy grail: Lopez wore the dress on the red carpet at the '00 Grammy Awards, and Google searches poured in. The dress became the talk of the town, elevating J.Lo's social status from budding movie star to full-fledged pop culture icon.

The spooky season has been a nonstop barrage of celebrity Halloween costumes so far, but like last year and the year before, this look takes the cake.
