Jennifer Lopez in a brown bodycon dress supporting Kamala Harris for Latte Dressing
Yesterday, Jennifer Lopez joined the list of A-list celebrities (including Beyonce and Meghan Cistallion) endorsing presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris. The “On the Floor” singer gave an emotional guest speech at a Las Vegas rally ahead of next week's election.
She wore a turtleneck, long-sleeved, skin-tight, latte-colored dress to the October 31 event. Lopez paired the midi-length dress with Gianvito Rossi ankle-strap stiletto sandals in the same brown color. She further accessorized the look with a chunky diamond cocktail ring that sparkled on stage.
Lopez showed off caramel-colored extensions (courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton) that highlighted her coffee-inspired ensemble. Her waist-length hair was styled into long, layered waves for the occasion. Meanwhile, makeup was true to her signature look, with glossy nude lips, softly sculpted matte brown eyes, and peachy bronze cheeks.
In her speech for Harris, the star became visibly emotional as she addressed the racist jokes at Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden last week.
“I am Puerto Rican, I was born here. I am a mother.” I am a sister. I am an actor and an entertainer. I like Hollywood endings. I like it when the good guy, and in this case the good girl, wins.”
She continued: “We should be emotional. We should be upset. We should be afraid and outraged. Our pain matters. We matter. You matter. Your voice and your vote matter.
More than 55 million voters have already cast their ballots in advance of the 2024 presidential election (including Selena Gomez, who voted for Vice President Harris earlier this week). Advance voting continues through October 3 in many states and will resume again on October 5. For more information.
