Anne Hathaway injected some goth-girl energy into the start of November.

On Friday, November 1, the “Devil Wears Prada” star was spotted in Soho, New York. Her oversized black blazer nearly covered her entire all-black mini dress, providing the perfect black-on-black layered look for the spooky season.

To complete the look, Hathaway wore chunky lace-up knee-high black boots and carried a matching black Kurt Geiger bag.

Hathaway debuted the emo look just one day after Halloween. Earlier that week, the actress posted a series of photos on Instagram of Hathaway in a spooky costume, including a blonde wig, skeleton-like makeup, and a Statue of Liberty crown.

On the spookiest day of the year, Hathaway was spotted in New York City dressed as Rey Skywalker from her favorite Star Wars series. She appeared with her husband Adam Shulman and her son.

Hathaway wore a white and brown dress with gold ribbons in her hair (even in her Halloween costume!). She looked attractive. She also wore brown boots in a slightly darker shade with gold straps. Hathaway had a big smile on her face as she woke up holding hands with her son, who had a lightsaber toy that mom or dad wanted.

Of course, Hathaway is no stranger to the monochromatic look; in June, she adopted an all-black dress code with a sleeveless black vest and a slip dress in the same color.
