Prince Charles fears “legal crisis” if he restores relationship with son Prince Harry, sources claim.

King Charles is reportedly hesitant to reconcile with his estranged son Prince Harry.

According to a senior constitutional expert and royal advisor who spoke to The Telegraph for an article published Saturday, November 2, the Duke of Sussex's lawsuit against the British government to restore his ducal status may be keeping his father, King Charles, from repairing their broken relationship. King Charles from repairing their broken relationship.

“Here we have an outrageous situation where the king's son is suing a minister of the king in the king's court. It is pulling the king in three directions,” this official told royal biographer Robert Hardman. 'There is also a situation where the king's son is releasing transcripts of private conversations.'

The official was, of course, referring to Prince Harry's explosive confessional memoir, Spare, and reports claiming that the Duke of Sussex “misremembers” private family conversations.

“So imagine what the situation would be if the prince told his father about his trial and then gave an account of that conversation, or worse, a conversation that was not entirely accurate,” Hardman continued in his report. “It would put him in serious legal jeopardy. Harry could have his case collapse simply by saying, 'My father said this.'”

In July, a friend close to Harry told People in an exclusive interview that the king and his son were no longer on speaking terms, partly because the Duke of Sussex was attempting to revive British security.

“He tells me, 'He's not available right now. ' He doesn't answer his phone. He is trying to contact the king about his health, but he doesn't answer those calls either.”

“Harry is frightened and feels that the only person who can do anything is his father,” another source said at the time. Yet another source claimed that the Duke of Sussex is “determined to protect his family at all costs.”

While the father-son relationship remains damaged, sources said that Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, has urged him to “let go” of the security-related lawsuit.

“She wants him to be free of all of this, but she knows he can't because of everything he's been through and his love for [her and the children],” a former employee of the couple's Archwell Foundation told People in an exclusive July She told People.

“She wants him to live in a world where he is not burdened by this,” the source added.
