Jennifer Lopez makes pussy ribbon blouses cool again with ballet flats and a Chanel bag

Jennifer Lopez doesn't just wear designer, she eats designer, and on October 20, the “Love Don't Cost a Thing” singer stopped by the Gucci Osteria Cafe in Beverly Hills for a sumptuous meal. The only Gucci of note was Lopez's oversized cat-eye sunglasses, but her ensemble still reflected the brand's distinctive aesthetic.

As a nod to the Victorian-era flare often used in Gucci designs, J.Lo revived the infamous pussy-bow blouse, a staple of the era and of Gucci (famously worn by Harry Styles to the 2019 Met Gala). But hers was from rival fashion house Dior, and was made of luxurious cashmere.

She styled the sweater with simple cigarette pants and black satin ballet shoes, similar to ballerina pointe shoes. The shoes, also by Dior, were embellished with bows and contrasting pearl detailing and laced up at the ankle. Overall, her look was a fun and moody take on the overly pastel ballet core trend.

Lopez opted for the designer's final staple for a late afternoon lunch date. She carried a mini-sized Chanel flap bag with chic Lucite top handles. The pop star tends to favor all-white bags (e.g., she adores her $29,000 Jim Birkin), but this time she opted for black leather to coordinate with her other looks.

Lopez is best known for her Hermes bag collection, but she also loves Chanel. She owns the larger size of this bag and the turquoise version of the top handle mini. She also has fringed and tote bags and a cream quilted style.

Fans haven't seen much of Star's wardrobe this fall. After a brief September sighting in a Revenge crop top and jeans, Lopez is hunkering down amid divorce proceedings. Street style has missed her penchant for rare designer goods: whether it's Chanel, Gucci, or Hermes, her bag collection is unmatched.
