Princess Kate preparing for Halloween vacation with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis

Princess Kate returned to official royal duties last month, announcing that she had completed her preventive chemotherapy. While she is gradually returning to work, the princess will reportedly take a vacation on Halloween for an important reason.

Kate Middleton has three children with her husband Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis; all three children are out of school, which lasts from October 18 to November 4. As a result, George, Charlotte, and Louis will spend quality time with their mother, “People” reports. Since the school vacation includes Halloween, Kate and William's children will likely enjoy a spooky holiday.

George, Charlotte, and Louis all attend Lambrook School and are day students. Prince William and Prince Harry attended boarding school as young children, while Kate and William's children all return daily to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

After announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, Kate shared an emotional health update on Instagram in September.

“As the summer draws to a close, I can't tell you how relieved I am to finally be done with chemotherapy. The last nine months have been incredibly hard for our family.” He continued, “As you know, life can change in an instant, and we had to find our way through the rough waters and unknowns.

“The cancer journey is complicated, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you,” she noted.

“Being humbled forces us to confront our vulnerabilities in ways we may not have considered before, and that gives us a new perspective on everything.”

Kate also shared how her family has dealt with her cancer diagnosis, saying, “More than anything, this time reminded William and me to reflect on and appreciate the simple yet important things in life that many of us tend to take for granted. To simply love and be loved.”

She continued. 'My focus now is to do what I can to stay cancer free. My chemotherapy is over, but the road to healing and full recovery is long and I must take it one day at a time.”
