Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner attended a casual evening event in LA's Brentwood neighborhood on Friday, October 18, proving once again that they have mastered the art of putting family first. But the exes, accompanied by their 15-year-old child, Serafina, narrowly avoided an awkward run-in with Affleck's other ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, who arrived just minutes later, according to TMZ.

According to Page Six, J.Lo-who looked chic in a belted chambray jumpsuit-attended the unspecified event with her 16-year-old child, Emme, and several friends.

Affleck, who walked alongside Garner, kept her look cool and casual by wearing jeans with a movie-themed burgundy graphic T-shirt and a cozy maroon sherpa-lined jacket. Meanwhile, the Deadpool and Wolverine actresses wore jeans and black Chelsea boots with black scarves and jackets.

TMZ noted that it is unclear if the three former couples had conversations as Affleck and Lopez's divorce progressed, but the former couple nearly bumped into each other in September while working in the same office building where they shared an office. However, reports in July indicated that there was no bad blood between Jen and her husband.

“She is helpful to J.Lo and they are involved with each other,” a source told Us Weekly in July about Garner, who divorced Affleck in 2018.

As for Lopez, she filed for divorce from the Argo star on their second wedding anniversary in August, and despite a difficult year for the “Marry Me” star, she seems to have her sights set on the future and a big comeback in 2025.

“She wants to make next year her best year yet and show the world that she won't let a clumsy relationship get her down. She will rise to the occasion,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Apparently, the “Let's Get Loud” singer is also looking for a big win at the Oscars. She wants an Oscar for “Unstoppable,” added one insider, who said that the actress “felt she deserved one” for her role in “The Hustler” a few years ago.
