Princess Eugenie wears quiet, luxurious neutrals for fall date night

When date nights are few and far between, it can be difficult to decide what to wear (especially when you have a toddler running around). But Princess Eugenie proved that classic neutrals never go amiss, as she showed off a quietly gorgeous look while heading to dinner with husband Jack Brooksbank in London on Tuesday, October 22.

The couple, who celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on October 12, were understandably busy raising their two children under the age of four, but took time out for a kid-free night out at Oswald's restaurant in London's Mayfair district. In photos from the outing (via Hello!), Eugenie opted for shades of black and tan, an outfit that many of us common folk could easily put together with items from our wardrobes.

The princess was dressed in a long tan coat that appeared to be a $390 Massimo Dutti and was worn open style over black straight leg pants. The top was a simple but effective combination of a black camisole and a black striped blouse, which she paired with hoop earrings and pointy black flat shoes.

The outfit would look at home in the office, but was given an edge with an unusual studded Chanel flap bag. Eugenie carried this enviable accessory on another recent night out, pairing the high-end piece with a metallic Max Mara slip skirt and a neutral Massimo Dutti bomber jacket.

Tuesday was a busy night for the York sisters, with Eugenie's sister Beatrice also out on the town. Princess Beatrice, who is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, joined Nicky Hilton and Princess Diana's nieces Amelia, Eliza, and Kitty Spencer at a glamorous party celebrating designer Rebecca Valance's new collection.

We wish Eugenie and Beatrice all the best on their stylish sister date soon.
