Bella Hadid has been experimenting with a lot of aesthetics over the past few weeks. She's donned dozens of buckle bunny outfits for Texas rodeos and New York City nights. And then there are the black jeans she wore yesterday to represent her inner Meg Ryan circa 1998 and the Coach bag that will soon be all the rage. But to support her close friend and fellow beauty founder Haley Bieber, Hadid took a hard left turn into ladylike pumps and flirty dresses in an outfit that looked like a vintage bomb.

Hadid toasted Bieber's new Rode Barrier Butter at an intimate dinner held at Funke restaurant in Los Angeles. During Rohde's launch party, she joined the It girls at the round table - Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and of course Mrs. Bieber - in a tailored mini-dress with wrap detailing on the bodice and a fluttering skirt. If you guessed that she and stylist Molly Dixon chose to go the archival route, you'd be right. The dress is marked “Vintage Bombshell” and bears a Valentino tag, among other things.

Hadid casually held a Saint Laurent bomber jacket in the crook of her arm to inject some off-duty model energy (in other shots of the evening, she draped it over her shoulder like a leather cape). To add a ladylike point to the outfit, she wore kitten heels with a pointed toe bow and styled her hair into a silky side-parted blowout.

At the party, she snacked on Rode brand rolls and took pictures around a table decorated with flowers. The woman of the hour, Haley Bieber, wore an oversized pinstripe suit and tie, letting everyone present know that she was a modern-day mogul.

Hadid also made time to pose for TikTok with Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner. Claudia Schiffer, who is starring in Rohde's Barrier Butter campaign, was also there in an all-black look.

Bella Hadid has worn many vintage dresses and leather jackets, but never in a combination like the one she showed off at Haley Bieber's Rohde Fest. Her Saint Laurent bomber last appeared in Paris, where Hadid paired it with a plunging neckline top before returning to the Saint Laurent runway.

As for archival dresses, she was the star of the Orêbella fragrance press in May. She attended interviews and parties in a variety of looks, from a Valentino butterfly dress to a floral corset number that seemed to allude to the Met Gala's “Garden of Time” theme. (13]

Bella Hadid seems very much back in the fashion world, having recently appeared on the runway of the Victoria's Secret fashion show while roaming LA. Her look at the Rohde party reminded me how much I missed her: no one can fuse old and new pieces like she can.
