Jennifer Lawrence shows off her pregnant bangs on the red carpet.

Jennifer Lawrence announced her second pregnancy with a set of bangs, an age-old tradition. Normally, bangs during pregnancy are created after childbirth, when the baby's hair grows back in the areas where hair was lost due to elevated estrogen and progesterone levels. However, the No Hard Feelings star seems to be getting ahead of things with her hairstyle.

She initially showed off the haircut, along with her growing baby bump, while out with gallerist husband Cook Maloney on October 23 at the red carpet premiere of Zurwaski V Texas, a documentary she produced about the impact of the Roe v. Wade repeal and we were able to get a better look at her bangs when she attended the ...

Curtains, micro, blunt, curly, side swept ....... The list goes on and on. But Jennifer Lawrence went for the nostalgic 70's style bangs. Lemon-colored bangs grazed her eyelash line past her eyebrows and blended in with the rest of her honey-blonde hair. Her chest-length mane was unwaved.

It was also her first opportunity to show off her red carpet maternity style in an off-white blazer dress with black double breasted buttons by Dior. Lawrence, who appears to have been styled by Jamie Mizrahi, accessorized her tea-length dress with a black belt that created an empire waist silhouette, pointed black kitten heels, and a gold watch.

Cutting off a few inches of hair to mark a personal milestone is something she has done many times before. This is not the first time Lawrence has had bangs. She had somewhat similar bangs during the 2012 press tour for The Hunger Games. Of course, those bangs were very blunt, bushy, and had chunky blonde highlights.

I think I speak for all of us when I say that her 2024 bangs looked great on her round, doll-like face. But there is a lesson for all of us in the evolution of her hairstyle: don't be fooled by the bangs of more than a decade ago and try again.
