Keith Urban on people loving his and Nicole Kidman's daughter's hybrid accents

Keith Urban donated two cents on the Australian dollar for the accent of his daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban with Nicole Kidman.

An Entertainment Tonight reporter asked Urban how he would describe Sunday's accent, describing it as “a hybrid of Southern and Aussie.”

Clearly a man of few words, the country singer replied, “She's our daughter.” [Urban was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, while his wife was born in Hawaii to Australian parents. The couple and their children currently live primarily in Tennessee, but have homes in L.A., New York, and Australia, according to Architectural Digest. They have a 16-year-old daughter, Sunday, and a 13-year-old daughter, Faith. The actress is also the mother of daughter Isabella, 31, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

The couple keeps their children mostly out of the public eye, but the Internet caught the teenager's accent after she walked the Miu Miu runway at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month. (Commenting on the feat, Urban said: “It was amazing. She was amazing.")

Later, Sunday gave a short video interview to Vogue magazine about her first time walking the runway, saying, “I'm Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and this is my first show. I'm at the Miu Miu show in Paris."

She added, ”I was really excited when I got the offer because I've always wanted to do it.”

She added.

Commenters were quick to pick up on the teenager's accent, with one writing, “Love her accent. A fusion of Australian and Appalachian. (Others replied that they did not hear an Australian among the Americans, though.)

Another said, “Her accent! A mix of Southern and Australian accents. What a mix.
