Princess Kate and Prince William trick-or-treating with George, Charlotte and Louis?
It was recently reported that Princess Kate will be away from official royal duties for two weeks to spend time with her children. With Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis out of school for two weeks on Halloween, royal fans will be wondering how the family will celebrate the spooky season.
Trick-or-treating is legal in the United Kingdom, but LBC reports that the tradition is much less common than in the United States. The Sun also notes that if “anti-social behavior” occurs from trick-or-treaters, the police can be contacted. However, “Hello! magazine reports that Kate Middleton will be trick-or-treating with her children on October 31.
Hello! magazine's January 2023 article shows a photo of Princess Kate standing in front of the gate of the house with George, Charlotte, and Louis. According to the magazine, the photo was submitted by Tamara Ecclestone's husband, Jay Rutland.
Rutland captioned the photo. “For those who doubt how down to earth William and Kate are: ...... This is Kate with the kids knocking on our door in London trick-or-treating on Halloween.”
Also, hello! mentioned that Rutland participated in an Instagram Q&A and was asked about the Prince and Princess of Wales. She replied, “William is warm, charming, and friendly.” 'Kate knocked on our door with the kids in London on Halloween. 'Trick or treat,' she said. She is very friendly and down-to-earth."
Kate and William have since moved their family outside of London, making Adelaide Cottage in Windsor their primary residence. They reportedly moved to the Windsor estate to be closer to Queen Elizabeth in her final months.
According to People, a source said of Kate and William's family, “Those kids seem pretty content with life. A lot of it is the stability and normalcy that Kate brings. William loves that.”
In other words, the royal family is really just like us.
