2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show: Cher performs “Strong Enough” and “Believe

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show pulled out all the stops for its grand return - a runway of veterans and rising stars, a collection of bomb looks, and a headlining performance by a certified pop icon.

Cher took the stage at the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 15, the first time the lingerie brand has relaunched a runway event since 2018. Highlighting the show's new message of female empowerment, she delivered a killer performance of her hits “Strong Enough” and “Believe” in a showcase broadcast live on Amazon and VS social media from N.Y.C.

The legendary The musician appeared later in the event and joined a troupe of only female dancers. She began her two-song set with “Strong Enough,” echoing her signature powerful vocals while her back-up dancers performed choreography on the platform behind her

.

The entire group was dressed all in black, silhouetted against the red lighting. The dancers wore black catsuits with gold bras underneath, while Cher wore glittery black cargo-like pants and a corset-like top.

During “Believe,” the VS models resumed and strutted down the catwalk in various red ensembles. At the end of the song, Bella Hadid made her long-awaited return, styled in a magnificent tulle cape with a long train.

Cher also walked the red carpet prior to her performance. Styled on stage with long, classic jet-black hair, she went blonde on the carpet and was accompanied by boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards.

Cher led the VS Fashion Show's first all-female lineup of performers, including K-pop star Lisa and South African diva Tyra.

The Grammy Award winner is one of the biggest music legends to take the Victoria's Secret stage. In the past, contemporary hitmakers such as Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd have led entertainment.

2024 is the year the VS fashion show made a comeback, and not since 2019 when the brand announced it would not host a live event due to controversy and criticism over the lack of body diversity. When it was announced in May of this year that the runway show would return, the brand said, “In addition to what we look like today, we will reflect everything you know and love: glamour, runway, wings, and musical entertainment!” The company announced.
