While the rest of Hollywood was gathering on the West Coast for the Los Angeles leg of Charli XCX's Sweat Tour, Victoria Beckham was on the streets of New York City, adopting the singer's signature shade of brat green.

On October 16, Beckham attended a conference hosted by Vogue magazine and dressed accordingly. Beckham, a former Spice Girl, used the time-honored art of color blocking as if she were a fashion icon herself.

She was dressed in a vibrant chartreuse green and a V-neck trumpet dress. Beckham is often associated with “fashionable” all-black outfits and $82,500 Birkin bags, but she stepped away from her usual aesthetic in favor of vibrant hues.

Her dress may have been blat, but Beckham's shoes utilized a different color trend all together. She opted for crimson patent leather pointed-toe pumps. The style came with matching red ankle straps, which she accented with chains on both ankles. Dainty anklets were the only other accessory besides oversized sunglasses (Beckham's signature).

Along with brat green and butter yellow, shades of red are going to dominate the fall fashion scene. Burgundy and classic red are often styled together in the same look. Zoë Kravitz, Jenna Ortega, and Demi Moore are just a few of the celebrities who have donned lipstick-inspired shades in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, everyone from Katie Holmes to tennis player Naomi Osaka is wearing bright green. Victoria Beckham was an unlikely candidate for this list, but she wore the vivacious shade like an absolute pro.
