Blake Lively enters Poison Ivy era in monochrome green outfit
Blake Lively is ready for her DC villain days.
On Friday, October 18, the It Ends With Us actress wore a monochrome green ensemble featuring a lace mid-calf dress and an oversized matching green cardigan from the Michael Kors Collection to the arrived at the NY Food & Wine Festival in New York City.
The Poison Ivy-inspired look was elevated by Lively's accessories courtesy of a pair of standout Christian Louboutin Ronifi Supra thigh-high boots and a Chanel calfskin clutch.
Lively's all-green look was somewhat a continuation of her “It Ends With Us” press tour fashion, which was inspired by flowers and gardens. It included a Chanel blue and white cotton t-shirt, blue and white denim jeans with a floral print, and a flower-shaped Chanel “Resin Strass” evening bag.
As Lively did on Friday, the actress completed her press tour look with Christian Louboutin shoes and Kate Strauss denim pumps.
Lively was also spotted wearing an $8,990 Oscar de la Renta strapless floral embroidered mini dress with 100% silk lining and bright yellow, magenta, orange, and purple hues.
She paired the dress with Aquazzura's Tequila Crystal Ankle Strap Heel Sandals, retailing for $1,450.
For the final garden-variety look during the tour, Lively wore a piece directly from the Versace Resort 2025 collection, which, according to Vogue, “took traditional wardrobe staples and revisited them with glitz and glamour.”
In addition to reviving floral fashion, Lively is no stranger to vintage looks. As Alexis Novak, founder of Tab Vintage, told InStyle in a recent interview, Lively had the “imagination” to “bring vintage items to life” while promoting her latest work.
“We sent her choices and she made the selections,” Novak told the magazine at the time.
“She was so talented and creative, and the looks were all her own vision.”
In the film, which touches on the prevalence of domestic and intimate partner violence, Lively plays a florist named Lily Bloom. The film is a blend of generic brands and up-and-coming designers, including Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino, and Chanel.
“What was really important for this character was for people to understand that she was a walking, talking contradiction,” she explained in an interview while promoting the film. 'She could be everything at the same time. She could be strong and weak. Masculine and feminine. Artistic and overly expressive. Fashionable and fabulous, but also practical. Wardrobe is always the way I get into character.”
Clearly, Lively has not yet finished her garden-inspired attire.
