Princess Diana allegedly praised Queen Camilla for her “fidelity and discretion” during her affair with Prince Charles.

Princess Diana reportedly had her own thoughts about the relationship between Queen Camilla, then known as Camilla Parker Bowles, and then-Prince Charles.

It is now widely understood that Prince Charles and Queen Camilla allegedly had a vast affair while both were married to others. And according to former BBC royal correspondent Jenny Bond, Diana did, in fact, admire her husband's rumored longtime mistress.

During an appearance on The Sun's “Royal Exclusive Live!” program, Bond opened up about her private meeting with Princess Diana at Kensington Palace.

“She was complicated and confusing, but I liked her a lot,” Bond said of Princess Diana. 'She invited me to the palace on several occasions.'

Bond continued. We had long, long chats, and she told me almost everything that was in the 'Panorama,' practically everything.”

Diana was, of course, interviewed by BBC journalist Martin Bashir in 1995. Since then, investigations have shown that the manner in which this interview was obtained was “deceptive.” However, Diana did make some revelations in that candid interview, such as describing her feelings about her failed marriage to Prince Charles.

According to Bond, “Diana said, ‘There were three of us in this marriage,’ and she talked about the affair and her views on Camilla. She told me that she thought Camilla was loyal, discreet, and deserved some form of acknowledgement."

The couple had a long history of being married.

Sun royal photographer Arthur Edwards told Bond, “Jenny, I've never heard that before. It's really amazing.”

She explained why Bond had not previously revealed the amazing comment.” Diana said every time I left, 'Jenny, this is just between you and me. So what can I do?'

Diana was previously reported to have antagonized Camilla by wearing clothes designed by Dale “Canga” Tyrone, who was also reportedly having an affair with King Charles.

Meanwhile, Ken Whorf, who was Diana's protection officer, spoke of the former crown princess' anger when her husband allegedly disappeared with Camilla at a party; appearing on ITV's “Lorraine” (via the Mirror), Whorf said, “I went outside and I saw Diana, and I said, 'My husband and I couldn't find Camilla, so I said, 'Come with me.'"

Wolff claimed that he was ”a bit of a fool.

He continued, “Now, I couldn't say no, obviously this woman was in some distress, and eventually we found the prince and Camilla sitting on a couch in the basement of this estate just talking.”
