The Gap x Cult Gaia collaboration is in stores as of Thursday, October 10 at 9 a.m. PT and brings a fresh approach to classic fall denim.

Under creative director Zac Posen, Gap has been taking a fresh aesthetic direction with a rotating roster of co-designers, and the Gap x Dôen collaboration brings Cotajecoa-inspired floral patterns and prairie lace tops, and the recent The Gap x Cult Gaia collaboration further cemented Gap's reputation for dependable jeans and timeless T-shirts, and the Gap x Dôen collaboration brought us logo remixed sweatshirts, sweatshirts, and T-shirts. The 35-piece lineup included everything from remixed sweatshirts to faux fur outerwear and hardware-embellished slip dresses.

Cult Gaia has enjoyed a cult following since Jasmine Larian Hekmat opened the store in 2012. The Los Angeles-based brand made a splash with its sculptural wooden arc bags, and its cutout wedding guest dresses and cute matching sets in earthy colors have won fans from Selena Gomez to Kaia Gerber Gap has been a big fan of Cult Gaia's famous While it hasn't dabbled in accessories (yet), it did let Hekmat expand the definition of jeans, denim jackets, and early holiday partywear.

Standout items include an army green Gap logo sweatshirt embroidered with “Gaia,” an asymmetrical cropped jean jacket, a white button-down with cut-out back, and structured denim that even Taylor Swift would want to order There's a corset, and since this is a collaboration with Gap, jeans are also featured, but this time in a more directional, wide-leg version. Prices range from $88 for the aforementioned top to $498 for the leather pants.

“Reimagining Gap's classic icons through the lens of Cult Gaia has been an amazing journey,” said Gap's CEO, Kurt Gaia.

“The collaboration merges our two distinct creative forces, combining Gap's classic, everyday wear with Cult Gaia's sculptural, artistic approach.

Using the It Girl brand is just one of the ways in which Gap has recently elevated its fashion statement. It has also designed an impressive array of custom pieces, including a corseted white shirtdress for Anne Hathaway and a denim Met Gala gown for Davine Joy Randolph.
