Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “on a roll” at work and at home
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made numerous public appearances in recent weeks. Rather than attend events together, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex prefer to make solo appearances for the organizations and charities they each support. However, new reports claim that Meghan and Harry's solo appearances are very intentional and feed into their success as a couple.
“It's clear that the twin-track approach is evolving,” an alleged friend of the couple told People.
Meanwhile, a “royal source” told the magazine, “The Duke and Duchess are now on a roll, not only as a couple but as individuals. The Duke seems to be concentrating on his work as patron and the Duchess on her entrepreneurial path.”
As to why this new approach is working so well for the Sussexes, a friend told this outlet. 'Entrepreneurship and focus on enterprise will become more of a priority for the Duchess, and the Duke will continue to support nonprofit patronage efforts.' They continued, “But we will collaborate on work in those areas of the cause.
Not only did this allow Meghan and Harry to focus on their own projects, but the stand-alone approach was also beneficial to them as parents. As two friends explained, “The fact that one of them would remain with the children also reflected their parenting priorities.”
One insider also argued that the Sussexes' solo outing helped them avoid accusations that one of them was stealing the spotlight. Said that official, “The truth is that this couple is damned if they do and damned if they don't.”
However, fans of the two need not worry, as Meghan and Harry are reportedly planning to make many joint appearances in the future. A royal source told People, “It's clear that they are showing up together for jointly supported causes, like their recent trips to Nigeria and Colombia, as well as foundation-led events.” 'What we are seeing is a functional, healthy relationship between two partners, not the other way around.'
