Taylor Swift Wears Classic Fall Plaid Set and Sky-High Boots for Chiefs-Saints Game

The NFL's long nightmare is over: on October 7, at a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints, Taylor Swift appeared, as promised by Travis Kelce. And to get back into the stands, she went all-in on her fall plaid.

In between rehearsals of her Eras Tour outfit for the final leg of concerts later this month, the singer donned a matching set of Vivienne Westwood off-the-shoulder plaid to support the Chiefs. Styled by Joseph Cassell Falconer, it looked like a mini-dress from afar. The draped top and mini skirt interweaved the Chiefs' colors of red and black with the Prince of Wales plaid to create a silhouette that draped around the waist and flared out at the back. She also added glitter freckles and a gold Chiefs manicure to continue the color coordination.

For her third Chiefs look of the season, Swift solidified several new personal style trends in the accessories department: first, she turned Vivienne Westwood's knee-high sky-high shoes into Chiefs game boots. Second, he wore gold jewelry, including a choker necklace, a ruby and gold ring from Effie Jewelry, and Vivienne Westwood earrings with orb charms. Finally, she tied her hair into a power ponytail, like the braided ponytail she showed off at the Super Bowl in February, and applied her signature red lipstick. To add a bit of novelty, Swift once again wore a Nishikori heart-shaped bag designed by Westwood.

It's been nearly three weeks since Swift was last seen cheering on her favorite football team in a WAG, and ahead of the October 7 game, Taylor Swift's fangirl style included classic fall boots and a denim corset top, her favorite wardrobe staples with a Chiefs corset twist.

For the second round of the season, Swift wore an oversized vintage Chiefs T-shirt like a mini-dress, with Giuseppe Zanotti boots underneath. She also stacked several chain necklaces under $100 and pinned a red bow in her hair to continue the Chiefs color story.

For the first game of the 2024-2025 NFL season, Swift dressed like a spectator bomber. He cheered on Kelsey while wearing the double denim trend with Giuseppe Zanotti thigh-high leather boots. Vintage necklaces by Megawatt, Louis Vuitton trunk bags, and fresh blowouts kicked off her WAG season.

Taylor Swift's time in the stands instead of on stage would not go unnoticed by fans. She'll be in Miami, Florida, on October 18 for the final show of her record-breaking Eras tour before stopping in New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver. Her ever-growing collection of Chiefs gear will take a backseat, but glamorous tour costumes by Roberto Cavalli, Versace, and Alberta Ferretti are expected. And if fans are lucky, there will even be a cameo by Travis Kells during her performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

Other behind-the-scenes glimpses into this star's real life will come directly from her, not from the cameras on Bravo's reality show. Sources confirm that the cast of the Kansas City Chiefs' WAGs show will not include Taylor Swift, and Swifties take what we get! The more Vivienne Westwood plaid matching sets, the better.
