Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson wear floral maxi dresses together for their first joint attendance since becoming parents.
New dads Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson made their first public appearance since becoming parents.
Attending the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Pacific Palisades, California, on Saturday, October 5, the Daisy Jones & The Six star shined in a black plunging maxi dress with a trendy floral print.
Antonio Marras' dress from the Spring 2024 collection was half-length with puff sleeves and a belted waist. Waterhouse was reportedly styled by Rob Zangardi and Marielle Hehn.
While this was not Waterhouse's first public appearance since giving birth to a baby girl in March, Saturday night's outing marked the first time the new parents appeared together in public.
(The two have yet to publicly name their daughter.)
In an earlier interview with E! News during the 2024 MTV VMAs, Suki opened up about her life as a new mother.
“It's great to come home every day and look into [her] little eyes. I'm crazy about her. She's turning over, she's sitting up, she's trying to crawl, she's doing everything.”
While Suki has made waves in the fashion world with her boundary-pushing maternity styles, such as the Valentino red gown trend at this year's Emmys, post-pregnancy she shines with a series of last-minute looks that push back against what society often says mothers “should” wear She is. [For example, when attending her first postpartum New York Fashion Week, Waterhouse wore a near-naked Michael Kors dress and a huge, shaggy pink personalized coat.
After becoming a mom, Waterhouse shared a candid postpartum Instagram post, praising her body for conceiving a child.
“The fourth trimester of my pregnancy... . was humbling! Post partum I am filled with exhilarating joy, lots of laughter, tears, and lots of hormones!” the actress wrote in the caption.
In a mirror selfie that Waterhouse posted online, the actress was seen wearing an open cardigan, Frida Mama postpartum underwear, and a simple bralette, People reported at the time.
“I am proud of all that my body has accomplished and proud of the grace,” Waterhouse added, “and the grace I have given myself during this recovery period.”
