Charli XCX has landed in New York City, and her presence can be felt all over the city: on September 23, the “365” singer performed at Madison Square Garden in Midtown, turning the entire island of Manhattan brat green. The streets were awash in chartreuse as Sweat Tour attendees flocked to the Muse. Among them was Katie Holmes.

Holmes did not attend the concert, but wore the pop star's signature colors the next day while running errands in the city. Her laid-back style was famously anti-Brat, favoring “rich mom” staples such as comfy sweaters, barrel-leg jeans, and ballet shoes. And even when rocking the colors of the unofficial Club Rat of 2024, the actress adhered to this aesthetic.

Instead of the typical brat uniform of neon crop top and fishnets (which I personally wore to Monday's concert), Holmes created a cozy fall vibe. She wore a long green coat with a matching V-neck cardigan from the brand Aligne. Both are tonal, but the shades Holmes chose made the vibrant fall trend colors more subdued.

Katie Holmes' fall style otherwise stayed true to the patterns she has become accustomed to. Before embracing her inner “365 Party Girl,” the Our Town star was spotted wearing a quilted jacket with a Lands' End canvas tote and Rachel Comey jeans. Holmes has also worn barrel-leg jeans several times this season with everything from Fair Isle sweaters to neutral button-up shirts. It's refreshing to see the street-style muse branching out from her style of “club classics.” However, the shredded dresses and oversized faux fur coats like Charli's on-stage wardrobe ...... I'd love to see “Rich Mom” incorporate them; I'm sure she'd love to see the “Rich Moms” incorporate them, too.
