Kylie Jenner's bombshell Schiaparelli bangle was the most successful accessory at Paris Fashion Week.
Kylie Jenner and her massive bangles were the talk of Paris Fashion Week, and her matching set of 80s-inspired gold bracelets looked so heavy that outside Schiaparelli's Spring 2025 show on September 26, Jenner waved to fans, I could have sworn I heard a groan.
Then again, Danielle Rosebery, Schiaparelli's creative director, has never cared much about practicality, especially when dressing a powerful woman like Jenner. And don't even get me started on the stunning faux lion-head corset dress she wore to sit in the front row at Schiaparelli's Spring 2023 Haute Couture show in Paris almost two years ago. Impressively, the handmade head looked so lifelike that there were fears it had been poached.
This season, Jenner did not appear with a giant animal head on her shoulder. But she did appear incredibly snatched in a strappy black knee-length dress with white contrast trim and exaggerated keyhole cutouts at the bust, styled by Alexandra and Mackenzie Grandquist.
The mother of two paired her skin-tight halter dress with Wonder Woman's stunningly coordinated cuffs and black peep-toe pumps. Interestingly, peep-toe pumps also made an appearance in New York fashion when Tory Burch reimagined the classic sandal with “earrings” for the Spring 2025 runway.
Jenner's hair was curled into Old Hollywood waves and her Naked Manicure matched that of her supermodel sister, Kendall Jenner, who made a rare return to the catwalk at Schiaparelli's Spring 2025 show. [I'm not opposed to designers like Chanel, Schiaparelli, and Versace reviving the 80s jewelry trend that was a favorite of Madonna and Princess Diana. Bella Hadid wore a chunky gold bangle at the summer Cannes Film Festival, and Hailey Bieber has been single-handedly pushing the gold jewelry agenda for nearly a decade. Perhaps Jenner can give this trend the final push it needs to become mainstream. If it were me, I'd be digging through my mom's old jewelry collection in a heartbeat.
