Supermodel Gigi Hadid is back on the runway!

On Friday, September 20, Hadid walked the runway at the Versace Spring/Summer 2025 Milan Womenswear fashion show in Milan, Italy. She returned in a floral mid-length dress that parted at one shoulder.

According to Vogue magazine, designer Donatella Versace “has been revisiting her past collections to varying degrees since the 20th anniversary of her brother's death in 2017.”

“The collection felt quite youthful by Versace standards, with baby pastels, slip dresses and cardigans, denim and shorts, not to mention perfume bottles and champagne stem heels that felt sweet rather than sexy 'The collection was a bit of a surprise,' wrote Nicole Phelps, director of Vogue Runway. 'Caramel-colored camp shirts and lavender pants, copper-colored tanks and lilac skirts. Soft yellow and white men's leather jackets paired with violet leather pants were also stunning.

Versace's muse was clearly convinced to return to the catwalk the day after celebrating her 4-year-old daughter Kai's birthday (Teen Vogue noted that the model visited Milan only to walk in the Versace show).

In a sweet Instagram post commemorating her daughter's four laps of the sun, the model thanked her daughter for “the best four years of my life.”

“Our daughter is 4 today and we celebrated all week !!!! She loves animals (even fantastic ones), music, baby Yoda, nature and bugs, descents, squishy and miniature things, and she would like to be in the water from dawn to dusk if possible. If possible, she will stay in the water from dawn to dusk. She is curious, adventurous, affectionate, and very resourceful.” ⚡️⚡️ Khai- Being your mom is the greatest joy and pride of my life! Thank you for the best 4 years of my life- you remind me to live each day to the fullest in the most simple and beautiful way. Your possibilities are endless! 🦄🧁🪐🥑🧜‍♀️🐣🎸🏖️ Yoda the best💚.”

The post included many birthday photos, including snapshots of a little girl's Yoda-themed birthday cake, an ice cream bar, and Hadid's daughter riding a very special pony.

Hadid also walked for Versace last year, debuting a dress that was later worn by Selena Gomez.

Hadid stepped down from the catwalk after giving birth to a baby girl, but later made a triumphant return for Versace's Fall/Winter 2021 fashion show.

Just 10 months postpartum, Hadid appeared on the cover of Vogue and spoke candidly about the experience.

“I know I'm not as small as I used to be, but I'm also a very practical thinker. Yes, I'm going to shoot the cover of Vogue, but obviously I'm not going to be a size zero. I also think it's a blessing in this age of fashion that people who say I have to be, can suck it up."[23
