Kendall Jenner embraces the chocolate brown trend at Bottega Veneta's show at Milan Fashion Week
Kendall Jenner single-handedly heralded the arrival of fall with a chocolate brown monochrome outfit (and dramatic hair color).
On Saturday, September 21, the model and reality TV star attended Bottega Veneta's Spring 2025 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week in Milan and fully embraced the chocolate brown trend for fall.
Her high-neck dress, styled by Dani Michel, featured long sleeves and a golden ring at one hip that held a knot, creating the dramatic drape that Veneta creative director Mathieu Blasi is known for (ie, Jenner understood this mission).
While Jenner certainly dressed the part, the star of the show was undoubtedly her recent dramatic hair color change: on September 11, the model took to Instagram to show off her new blonde locks, which were now a darker shade of blonde.
The monotone chocolate brown outfit was the perfect outfit to highlight the model's new hair color, as it matched her still noticeable brown roots and created a color contrast appropriate for fall.
As Marie Claire previously reported, after the Maison Alaia fashion show at New York Fashion Week, the model visited celebrity hairstylist Jenna Perry for a completely new cut and color.
“It took me two days to get this gorgeous shade of golden blonde,” Perry told Vogue magazine. She's inspired by the '90s and Caroline Bessette-Kennedy.”
According to celebrity stylist Julius Michael, the bold new look rivals the fall hair trend. He said at the time, “Baby light highlights throughout, toned down only at the roots to keep the hair looking natural and sun-kissed.”
Like her new blonde look, Jenner is definitely not the only model or influencer embracing the chocolate brown trend as we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. Recently, fellow model and BFF Gigi Hadid wore chocolate brown from head to toe to a party, proving that this fall's trending color is timeless and chic.
While Kenner did not walk the show, her best friend Hadid returned to the catwalk during Milan Fashion Week and walked the Versace show in a floral mid-length dress that parted at one shoulder.
The model and proud mama took to the runway the day after celebrating her 4-year-old daughter's birthday. Clearly, Versace has the power to bring Hadid back (the model's first post-partum appearance was also a Versace show).
