Zendaya Swaps Regal Burberry Gown for Louis Vuitton Bubble Dress in Successful Late-Night Outfit Change
Fashion queen Zendaya has done it again.
On Saturday, September 21, actress Zendaya was spotted in different but equally stunning outfits on Manhattan's Upper West Side and later in New York City's Midtown as she effortlessly navigated a late night costume change.
Zendaya first wore a Burberry gown from the brand's Spring 2025 collection, befitting royalty. The look featured a black ribbed vest and a pleated my skirt with a thigh-high slit. [Burberry designer and creative director Daniel Lee told Vogue magazine of the collection. “We want it to be a dreamy place, but also a realistic proposition for anyone who wants to go there.” Clearly, Zendaya and image architect Lo Roach understand that vision. [Especially when Zendaya was subsequently spotted wearing a Louis Vuitton bubble dress, a successful and chic outfit change.
The custom-made emerald green mini dress featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and oversized sleeves, adding to the dramatic nature of the evening. The actress completed the look with pointed-toe black suede heels.
Despite the ostensible evidence, the actress was candid about how introverted she is. With her “fake it until you make it” mentality, she talks about how fashion gives her confidence when she is out in public, whether it be on the red carpet or on the streets of New York City at night.
“‘Fake it till you make it’ is a bit of a stretch. I think it's the little things that you have to get yourself up and just pretend,” Zendaya previously told Kelly Clarkson in an interview on ”The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
“I'm an actor, so I pretend, and eventually I believe it. It's like, 'Wait, OK, I'm confident today,'” she continued.
“I think fashion is a great tool for me to do that.”
