Meghan Markle's navy blue jumpsuit is business casual perfection.

Meghan Markle is a master of business casual. I'm convinced she could look like a caité if she took meetings in a garbage bag, and the navy Club Monaco jumpsuit she wore to attend the grand opening of Godmothers Bookstore on Saturday, September 7, is just the latest example. The new bookstore is located not far from the Montecito home Markle has shared with her husband Prince Harry since 2020.

Markle wore a Club Monaco collared sleeveless navy blue belted jumpsuit styled by Jamie Mizrahi. Unfortunately, this item is nearly sold out, with only a few sizes of another color, tan, remaining. However, similar styles from labels such as Reiss, Reformation, and Donna Karan can easily replace the original.

Markle completed her look for the evening by slicking her hair into a neat ponytail before accessorizing with Jimmy Choo sandals and diamond stud earrings.

The Duchess of Sussex spoke at the event in front of a small crowd that included her friend, neighbor, and fellow book lover Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey and Markle's friendship began when the two became neighbors in 2020. The following year, Winfrey famously gave the most unguarded TV interview Meghan and Harry had ever given.

In the store, Markle's best-selling children's book, The Bench, was displayed in the “Hometown Heroes” section alongside Prince Harry's memoir, Spare; shortly after The Bench was published, Markle blogged that the book was “another It was intended to “portray another side of masculinity- one rooted in connection, emotion, and softness. Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbook, “It's All Easy,” was also displayed in the local authors' section.

This is not the first time Markle has been seen wearing business casual. Most recently, during her tour of Colombia with Prince Harry, which began in mid-August, Markle managed to put together a week's worth of colorful yet sophisticated looks for a meeting with community leaders. Most impressively,” she took the time to ensure that most of her vacation wardrobe was sourced from South American designers.
